Final shots of tod a y’s clean.

Kinja'd!!!

No full shots of the T5 as it’s liveried with shop details.

Owner loves to detail her cars and just didn’t have time to.

Owner said it w anted a wash and quick vacuum.

It needed a little more. Her dog rides up front so there was dog drool on the side glass and the dog had an ear infection and spots of drool were shook all over the rest. Interior vacuumed and wiped down. Exterior washed and sealed and dressed.

2010 Audi A4 S-Line 2.0 diesel.

Owned by a colleague of the one above.

The owner is passionate about detailing her car but she wanted bird bombs removed and she’ll be polishing the car next week so only wanted a wash and dry. Washed and then dried with a drying aid.

Interior needed a light vacuum but was asked to only wash and dry.

It’s nice when people who are passionate about detailing trust and ask me to do theirs.

I love my A4 S-Line. Diesel and avant seems even better! Gorgeous car.

Her previous car and Audi A3 had a grey fabric interior.

Kinja'd!!!

Her current car, an Audi A4 has a mixed leather/alcantara interior.

Kinja'd!!!

Both are an easier interior to live with than this Audi A1.

Have you ever considered setting up a detailing business? Maybe dealing with customers instead of grateful neighbors would take the fun out of it...

I’ve had eight job offers, one offer to start a business with me doing the cleaning side while the other handles customers, etc...

But for me it’s a way to relax. It’s a way of handling depression because I give it my full attention on removing dirt effectively and safely as possible from the car. I also get enjoyment of seeing the owners faces as they look at their now clean car I feel like I’ve achieved something.

I don't charging because money makes it awkward. As possible then will only ask if they have spare cash to have it done or one occasion a colleague said she'd give me £50 for doing her car. Afterwards I pointed out a deep scratch that I tidied up but was too big and deep for me to remove. She said, 'so, if I give you £45 then!?', I thought, hey, I don't want any money, but you think someone will repair the scratch for £5. It just completely deflated me.
